Randomness and Basketball Abounds

UH played Boise State tonight at home and it was a pretty slow game...but it was still relatively exciting nonetheless. The two teams traded leads for a while until UH finally went on a run in the middle of the second half and left Boise State trying to catch up for the rest of the game. I was pretty surprised by UH's free throw percentage - it seemed like everything they put up went in. Meanwhile, a Boise State player (Coby Karl... or something like that) and Julian Sensley both managed to hit 1000 career points in this game. By contrast though, I'm told that JJ Redick has over 2000 or so.
Why is Louisiana Tech in the WAC??? It makes no sense...like if UH joined the ACC.
Learned about the "old-style" credit union last night. Forgot what it's called though...will post details later. It has me quite intrigued.
